Poll: Capitol Punishment

Hey, it's been awhile since we've had a new poll. Pretty simple one to ease back in too. The Capitol Punishment card is shaping up quite nicely, what match are you most excited to see?

Voting will be open till the PPV starts and feel free to explain your choice in the comments section.

  1. I'm really looking forward to Christian and Orton. Those two have a LOT of chemistry and I honestly feel like Orton has really turned up his game since going to Smackdown. I've meandered between loving and hating the guy for years now and he was getting a bit hard to tolerate on Raw but I'm digging his stuff a lot now. And Christian is, well, Christian. He's always phenomenal--especially now that he's actually being showcased. I just hope Orton's cleared to compete.

The whole card looks solid, really, but nothing else sticks out to me as much as that one. I'm expecting a pretty fun show, for whatever reason.

  2. I voted Orton/Christian as well, just because of the match they had at Over the Limit. They didn't just tear the house down, the tore the whole damn block down.

And since I must balance any positive statement about Orton with a negative one: Randy Orton is a butt munch.

  3. I voted Barrett/Jackson on the poll, though Orton/Christian was a close second. Two reasons: these two guys have amazing pure talent, and this match is a major steppingstone to the main event for whoever wins. Bold prediction: the winner of this match will be WWE/World Champion by next Wrestlemania.

Predicted Bonus Match: Sin Cara & Daniel Bryan vs. Un-Dashing Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. Cody carries his old partner through one more match as they face The Internet's Favorite Tag Team. Result: Sin Cara & Bryan win and face Nexus the next Smackdown for the tag titles. Also, another major Rhodes meltdown after the match.

  4. I don't know why but I voted for Truth vs Cena. I suppose it's because R-Truth's just been so damn awesome lately. When Miz is finshed with Riley, maybe Truth vs Miz? My prediction for Capitol Punishment is... R-Truth. Call me crazy, but they're really getting behind Truth, and I believe a WWE Championship could be the next step towards building his awesome character. Still looking forward to all the other matches though especially Orton vs Christian.

  5. @Nadso: Truth vs Cena is my most anticipated match too, but I never really pondered the possibility of Truth winning the title. Thinking about it now, while I'm not convinced it will happen, it would be a great way to turn things on their head going into the summer. Failing that, I could see him being a strong contender for the Money in the Bank briefcase, even though I'm tired of the whole "cheap heel cash-in" routine now.

  6. I voted for R-Truth-Cena because not only have I loved the direction of Truth these last few weeks but this match will probably answer a couple questions I have. First, how is R-Truth going to handle being in a WWE Title match on a PPV and to see how they book the actual match as whether or not Truth is going to be an actual factor in the coming months or just a guy who is going to fade right back into oblivion.

  7. Orton/Christian isn't going to be all that great unless Orton has a clean bill of health and can go Sunday. He's legitimately concussed.

With that option off the table, give me the two guys who always have great matches with each other, Punk and ReyRey.
