Poll: WWE Draft

The WWE Draft is on Monday, I'll have my predictions up sometime in the next few days, but I'm curious what you think will be the biggest surprise of the night. John Cena to Smackdown? Undertaker to Raw? What will be the headline at 11:15 on Monday Night? Vote in the poll to the right of your screen and please leave a comment with your detailed thoughts.

Now, the results from our previous poll:

vs. Mick Foley - WM22: 41%
vs. Undertaker - SummerSlam 08: 26%
vs. Eddie Guerrero - SD 02: 8%
vs. Undertaker - One Night Stand 08: 8%
vs. Shawn Michaels - Raw 05: 5%
vs. Ric Flair - Raw 06: 2%
Other: 8%

WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011WWE - Edge: A Decade of DecadenceWWE All Stars

  1. I voted for Cena, but I believe either he or Orton will be moving to SD to fill the void left by Edge.

    God help the Blue Brand.

  2. My money's on Orton. He's never going to be the guy to carry WWE or even Raw, but he'd fill Edge's role on Smackdown quite well. As much as it pains me to say that.

  3. Orton seems to be the likely candidate for a big move, but I don't really see why having an entire draft is necessary. Why not just add a "Loser Leaves Raw" stipulation to the Orton vs Punk match at Extreme Rules and have Orton lose as a result of some sort of Nexus-instigated shenanigans? In my mind, the rosters are generally fresh enough as they are right now to carry some decent new feuds into the summer months, but I suppose we'll just have to wait and see how it all turns out now.

  4. The Draft is "necessary" because it'll probably boost the ratings a little bit.

  5. I think Del Rio is going to be the major move. (and Bourne is going to move to Smackdown too).

  6. I wouldn't be surprised to see John Cena move to Smackdown. The blue brand has a dire lack of star power at the moment and I don't think the alternative - that being Randy Orton - is a big enough name to drag Smackdown back up all on his own.

That said Cena IS WWE and Vinny Mac also doesn't give a crap about Smackdown, so maybe we'll see Mark Henry and Evan Bourne make the move instead...

In a serious stab in the dark, I'd suggest Sheamus to SD. A few months ago, before WWE started their usual "knock em down to build em up" gimmick, he was a MAJOR name. I can see him being rebuilt on and then carrying SD!
