Poll - SummerSlam '00s

First, the results from our previous poll:

TLC 1: SummerSlam 2000 - 6%
TLC 2: WrestleMania 17 - 63%
TLC 3: Smackdown 2001 - 9%
TLC 4: Raw 2002 - 6%
Edge vs. Ric Flair: Raw 2006 - 4%
John Cena vs. Edge: Unforgiven 2006 - 0%
Edge vs. Undertaker: One Night Stand 2008 - 9%

Really, no votes for Cena/Edge? That was a defining moment for both of those guys, but obviously it's hard to compete with a match that garnered a whopping 63% of the final vote. There's no doubt TLC 2 at WM17 featuring Edge & Christian, The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz, is one of the most memorable matches in not just WrestleMania history, but WWE history as well. We'll see if CM Punk and Jeff Hardy can create those kind of memories in just seven days.

Since it is SummerSlam time, that brings us to our New Poll: What is your favorite SummerSlam match of this decade? Poll will close Thursday, so make sure you get your vote in! And if you select "Other," let me know in the comments section which match you're voting for.

  1. Funnily enough one of my favorite matches ever and most certainly from SummerSlam ended on a DQ. Steve Austin versus Kurt Angle from SS01 I thought was fantastic, and was one of those rare times a DQ ending worked beautifuly. Everyone thought Angle had finally taken the World Title back from the Alliance, only for Austin to manage to get himself DQed. Their exchange at Unforgiven the next month was probably slightly better, but this was still an awesome match.
