  1. You couldn't resist a Coheed joke, couldn't you? That was a fun moment. :)

  2. I do love me some Coheed... especially the album titles.

  3. Personally, I don't get the Miz love. He seems to be above average in the ring and all of the promos I've seen him do are fine, but then drag on longer than they need to (eg. that segment with Santino at the last PPV). Maybe it's partially because I just don't like the whole gossip/paparazzi/Perez Hilton celebrity bullshit thing he and Morrison kinda had going on, it's just a part of the media that I truly despise, and probably down to personal preference. Maybe they were better on SD/ECW but those shows I don't get to watch and could never be bothered checking out the Dirt Sheet.

As for Slammiversary, it was an all-round good PPV in my opinion. There were no bad matches, the Daniels/Douglas and Tara/Love matches being decent as the worst on the bill (granted I missed most of the Tara/Love match). The hardcore match was great (love it if the Stevie, Raven and Daffney faction stayed around), the tag titles bout was good too and both KOTM bouts were fantastic. Shelley delivered a mean Sliced Bread on the apron, and Joe turned was definitely out of nowhere and done well, especially as everyone went crazy as it looked like AJ was going to win it. Catch it if you can.

    Again, good show though. (y)

  5. Yeah, despite all my complaints about TNA, they're certainly not lacking in the wrestling department. They have all the tools, but they just can't utilize them properly to make for engaging television.

  6. Again loved the show and I admit you and I share almost the same opinion about everything. The Trump story line was way too short but the WWE doesn't really listen to the dirt sheets. They watch them for what gets leaked but I don't think they actually listen to stuff like the SEC is gonna go after them. Maybe it was true maybe it wasn't maybe The Donald just couldn't free up enough time in the coming weeks to keep the story line going. Who knows I just hope he returns in the future because no matter what he's great for the WWE.

I support the "AWESOME" campaign of The Miz. At first I was annoyed by him and was surprised that he has lasted this long and then he was put into a tag program with another guy that had annoyed me but now doesn't in John Morrison. Even after splitting the amusing tag team they have both managed to stay great characters.

I was once a John Cena fan and even though I no longer route for him I do respect his work ethic. I just have always disliked the Charcter Hulk Hogan, loved the bad guy "Hollywood" Hogan though lol. However once I noticed Cena being turned into a new age Hogan even with the craptastic movies like Hogan made I quickly renounced him as a favorite of mine. So yes I was disappointed when they didn't let The Miz eliminate Cena in that battle royal and yes I am hoping that The Miz finally gets a real victory over Cena however I fear interference from the Big Show and a continued story line with the Big Show vs Cena to bore us to death.

Last thing I wanted to say was in wCw Rey lost his mask and continued to work the rest of his contract with them without his mask. Luchadores are never supposed to wear a mask again once losing their mask but the WWE payed Rey good money to put his mask back on. I do not see him really having a problem losing his mask forever since the other luchadores and especially the older ones should already be looking down on Rey for putting his mask back on in the first place. So don't think him winning at the Bash is a done deal and as much as I like Rey I'm actually on the side of Jericho this time. I'm surprised that the WWE hasn't brought up the fact that Rey really is a hypocrit in the fact that he lost his mask in wCw and yet here he is in the WWE wearing a mask. Seeing as the WWE owns wCw and seeing how Jericho can be so vindictive and how much sense it would make I'm really surprised that that fact has not been thrown in Rey's face.

Ok I'm out lol I know I probably wrote way too much but that's what happens when a good product gets thrown out there oh and almost forgot if you keep kick out wrestling solo and just contribute say an article to the other site you'll be fine or even syndicating your show really couldn't hurt just make sure you have the authority to pull the plug if they end up being like the rest of the bad wrestling media sites out there.

  7. About Mysterio's mask, the simple fact about it is WWE simply doesn't care about WCW. They like that it can make them money with DVD sales, but as far as storylines or characters, WCW's history (especially towards the end) is meaningless to WWE.

WWE's got a business to run and Rey Mysterio is FAR more marketable with the mask than without.

  8. I really don't think his popularity will take that much of a hit if he loses the mask. If anything he might just get more popularity through sympathy or regain fans he lost by putting the mask back on. Juventud hasn't put his mask back on and neither has Psycosis so like I said I like Rey Mysterio but he is a hypocrit in this situation with Jericho and his mask lol will be his downfall.

  9. No, he probably won't lose any popularity, but WWE will lose money on selling replica masks and anything else they can put that image on.

  10. I would think they could still sell the masks and he could even still carry a mask out to give away to a fan in attendance. For one reason alone it would make them money and allow him to still market the mask but not only that he does have his mask tattoed on one of his arms/shoulders so it would be within reason to keep selling the masks and for him to keep giving one away at least that's what I'd do if I were in charge of that sort of thing and he did lose his mask forever.

  11. I still can't find any love for the Miz. If he does well and holds his own against Cena this Sunday, he might win me over, but much like Maryse, I am not interested in anything he does until he actually does something worthy in the ring. (That is the only time I will compare myself to Maryse... never again.... ever... EEEEEEVVVVERRR again!)

  12. Just want to chime in and say that was another great show. Thanks. :)

  13. I always thought your Miz love was some sort of weird joke but you're actually serious about thinking he is talented. He'll be lucky to still have a job at the end of next year, nevermind a World Title.
